What is your shipping policy?
Most items are normally shipped 7 to 10 business day for orders placed before 2PM CST, paid with credit card without complication and except Mondays. Exceptions to this policy are expensive computer items, or complex computer builds that might need additional time to complete. Payment complications include: different shipping and billing addresses, billing information inconsistent with what's on the credit card record, and orders that can't be verified by phone and email. Orders placed during non-business hours such as evenings, weekends, and holidays are normally processed and shipped on the next business day except Mondays.
Buytechgear offers only one main shipping choice to fit the customer's needs. We currently ship by DHL for a majority of shipments. Buytechgear does not drop ship for reseller customers. Shipping charges are for ground service only.
DHL: The most inexpensive way to ship is by DHL Ground. DHL shipping charges are calculated on a one time charge. Most items ship for $69.95, which includes shipping and insurance.
Shipping cost goes up almost exponentially in the sequence of DHL Ground, 3 Day Select, 2nd Day Air, and Next Day Air. DHL does NOT guarantee air delivery to residential addresses. Check the estimated DHL Ground delivery time before choosing a shipping method. Saturday delivery is available from DHL but is very expensive.
All DHL shipments are insured for damage and missing packages by DHL. Buytechgear is not responsible for any physical damage to products by shipping company.
Adult Signature is Required on most residential deliveries. Buytechgear is NOT responsible for any loss or damage due to packages left at your doorstep by DHL drivers.
What is your return policy?
If you believe that the product you received is defective and your warranty has not expired, you must first email us for a RMA request to obtain a RMA number as if you are placing a new order. The RMA Order number will allow us to track your return much easier and faster. After receiving your RMA order number, pack the defective item(s) very well with all the original packaging and supporting materials such as cables, manuals, and computer, a copy of the original invoice, and a copy of the RMA Return Request Confirmation. Customers are responsible for the shipping cost of shipping items back to us.
Customer must package the products properly. Buytechgear is NOT responsible for any damage to the products during transit by the shipping company. Damaged items are not eligible for warranty or money back guarantee. All computers should be wrapped in plastic bags or shock-resistant bubble-wrap. There should be at least one inch of cushioning material such as peanuts between the item and the walls of the box.
We suggest that customers obtain a receipt for any packages shipped back to us. Buytechgear is NOT responsible for any package lost during shipping.
The time it takes for us to send you the replacement products depends on several factors. (1) What kind of products. (2) What caused the defects? (3) How fast our vendor/manufacturer would send us the replacement. (4) Whether it's a repair or a replacement. (5) How long have you received the product?
For items such COMPUTERS, the replacement/repaired unit will be shipped if you received the product within the last 30 days. For computer that you have received for more than 30 days, the replacement/repair process may take up to one full month since we have often to wait for the vendors to complete the replacement/repairment work. In such situations, we would strongly encourage customers to contact the original manufacturer of the product for a direct replacement.
Buytechgear is responsible for the cost of shipping the replaced item back to customers via DHL Ground. Customer will be responsible for upgrades to DHL Next-day air, 2nd-day air, or 3-day select. Buytechgear does not offer cross-shipping.
